Because I have received so many emails from aspiring wedding planners, I thought that I would revisit a series I did earlier in the year on how to become a wedding planner.  Of course there are several paths one could take to reach their final destination of a career in wedding planning, but I’m primarily going to focus on my own path and offer advice based on my own experiences.

When I decided to become a professional wedding planner, there was so little information about the career and there definitely was not one wedding planner out there willing to share how she became a wedding planner.  It was so frustrating to have zero mentorship.  I had so many questions and felt like I was shooting in the dark, missing the target, with no one to turn to for support and advice.  To all you aspiring wedding planners: I hope to offer you insight, advice, and get those wheels of yours turning.  I also hope to help you avoid some of the mistakes I made when I started my business.

These mini tutorials will come to you via my video blog on YouTube 2-4 times per month.  Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out on upcoming videos and please feel free to leave questions and feedback in the comments section.  I’m excited to help you reach your goals as you begin your wedding planning journey!  : )
